Maldita Nerea

Maldita Nerea is a Spanish music band, led by Jorge Ruiz. He's from Murcia, and he born in 1975. The band is from Murcia, Spain. The type of music is pop rock.

                Trajectory

The band began playing small concerts in Murcia continued with performances in Salamanca, the first concerts there were a surprising success. The public began to enjoy his concerts, singing his songs... And they began to be about local stars. After spending time giving concerts in small locals, the multinational company Universal Music is interested in them and publishes, in October 2003, their debut album, Cuarto Creciente. Jorge Ruiz himself has explained the name of the Group: «Nerea is the name we give to the music and the adjective of "maldita" is by how difficult it is to live it and with it». Their second album, El secreto de las tortugas, produced by Cuarto Creciente Production, throw to the murcian set to music national, mainly with their single 'El secreto de las tortugas' and helped with the collaboration of the Jerez group Los Delinqüentes. In mid May 2009 they released his new album, on 12 may, Maldita Nerea publishes Es un secreto... no se lo digas a nadie. It is a compilation of the CD of the album and a DVD containing the trajectory of the band and achieved popular success. During the year 2010, arrives one of their greatest hits, since song 'Cosas que suenan a...' unpublished Es un secreto... no se lo digas a nadie gets first # 1 on music charts for the group.
